Robbie Wright

Robbie Wright assumed the role of Vice President Centrica Connected Homes for North America in November of 2015. In this role, Robbie is responsible for establishing the Connected Home strategy and operations for Centrica in the US and Canada. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Digital & Innovation, beginning in January 2014. His primary responsibilities included managing the digital platform and online experience for new and existing customers for the Direct Energy Residential line of business, as well as the innovation project pipeline for new initiatives.

Robbie has 16 years’ experience in the start-up and digital space. Prior to joining Direct Energy, he was a co-founder of Bounce Energy and served as its CEO for five years, until Bounce’s acquisition in August of 2013 by Direct Energy. Prior to Bounce, Robbie was SVP of Customer Experience at WhiteFence, a Houston-based ecommerce start-up in the B2C space, that also sold and exited in August of 2013. Robbie was an early-stage employee at WhiteFence and worked for over seven years in various capacities before leaving to found Bounce. Robbie holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
