SVP Engineering Projects & Business Development | Israel Electric Corporation

Ron is the Senior Vice President, Engineering Projects and Business Development Group for the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC). He comes to this position after holding a series of‎ ‎positions in the IEC in the field of electricity generation (as the Electrical Engineer of Orot Rabin Power Station) and in the field of transmission and transformation (Division Manager).‎

The ‎Engineering Projects and Business Development Group is engaged in the design and construction of generation units, substations and switching stations. The group has an annual financial volume of over 2 billion NIS ($522 mil).‎ ‎The group has approx. 1,800 employees in two divisions: Engineering Design and Project Execution.

The group also includes the Project Management Office which implements advanced methodologies for managing projects under its responsibility.‎ In addition, Ron is in charge of the Business Development Unit which promotes worldwide partnerships based on IEC expertise and capabilities not only in the engineering sector, but also in cyber security, training and more.

Ron holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ben Gurion University and a Master’s degree from the Technion. Ron is married and a father of four.
