Garrett Hester

Garrett Hester assumed the role of Director, Centrica Connected Homes for North America in November of 2015. In this new role, Garrett is responsible for establishing the Connected Home delivery strategy for Centrica in the US and Canada. Garrett previously led the go-to-market arm of Direct Energy’s Innovation group. He comes from a software startup background and made the transition into the energy sector over 7 years ago. Garrett’s Delivery team crafted and executed the go-to-market strategy across Direct Energy’s North American footprint. He was responsible for bringing an innovation initiative from the idea and business case phase to actualization. Garrett ensures commercial guidance is given and acted upon for the development, design and improvement of our technology platform, marketing plans, sales campaigns, and operational processes in support of these objectives.
