Robert Scheuermann

As President, Robert is responsible for overseeing all sales and operations of SoCore’s business, and as Chief Financial Officer, Robert has overall responsibility for company financial matters. Robert is a member of the company’s executive management team with key input on the formulation and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives, financing strategy, investment decisions, commercial contract documentation, governance, accounting functions and risk tolerance.

Robert brings over fifteen years of power industry and renewable energy experience to the team. Prior to joining SoCore, Robert spent four years at Wind Capital Group as Senior Vice President of Finance where he managed all banking relationships and led the execution of over $1 billion of financing commitments, including construction loans, term loans and tax equity.

Robert was also a Director of ABN AMRO Bank’s Structured Funding & Investments Group. He led the renewable energy tax equity initiative, investing approximately $600 million in thirteen national wind projects between 2006 and 2008. In addition with ABN AMRO Bank, Robert spent eight years in the Power & Utilities group focused on project finance and M&A advisory.

Robert received an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Business from Indiana University. He is a CFA Charterholder and an Illinois registered CPA.
