Allan Schurr

Allan Schurr is president of Edison Energy, a subsidiary of Edison International that consists of unregulated services and solutions in emerging sectors of the electric industry. He is responsible for developing and delivery of a portfolio of integrated energy service offerings targeted to large commercial and industrial customers, including distributed generation, energy efficiency and conservation, power supply management, and energy systems monitoring services.

Prior to joining Edison Energy, Schurr worked at IBM Corporation for more than 10 years, most recently serving as vice president and industry client leader. He also served as vice president strategy and development for the Global Energy and Utilities Industry.

Previously, Schurr held executive and leadership positions at Itron Corporation, Silicon Energy Corporation and Pacific Gas & Electric.

Schurr currently serves on the board of directors of GridWise Alliance, and previously served on the board of directors of Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative.

Schurr earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A. from St. Mary’s College of California.
